Under normal circumstances, people hope to have a quiet room, especially the room near the street and highway. The use of a completely closed roller shutter window installed outside the glass window can greatly improve the sound insulation effect of the window. Through research, people have found that the larger the distance between the roller shutter window and the glass window, the better the noise reduction effect. The closed shutter window itself can reduce the noise by 18dB. If combined with the insulated glass window (4/12/4mm), a comprehensive sound insulation effect of 37dB can be obtained.
In order to obtain the ideal sound insulation effect, the following points should be noted:
1. The airtightness of the shutter plate closure;
2. The tightness of the guide rail;
3. The airtightness of the roller shutter window seat bar and the window sill;
4. The roller shutter cover has sufficient insulation performance to avoid sound bridges.
